"Fantastic location!!! In my opinion, there isn’t a better location in Vancouver proper. It isn’t near a sky train station but the bus stop is literally right in front of the hotel, you’re right around the corner from English Bay, and Stanley Park is one block away. The hotel looks a little run down on the outside and in the lobby but the rooms are very nicely renovated and very clean. The attached pub had great happy hour specials and the food was good. "

"We had the room with the kitchen. Arrived to a clean room. Great area to stay. Breakfast choices: pancakes, pastries, cold cuts, fruits, cereal, yogurt, and hot/cold drink. Pleasant staff. Will definitely come back☺️"

"Since staying for the same event last year, it looks like the rooms have gotten a new paint job. Also, they've installed new air conditioners, which are fairly quiet. It's good to see the sprucing up. But the plumbing still squeals throughout your shower and the furnishings are pretty old. And, like most hotels / motels in downtown Squamish, it is over a pub which is very loud on weekend nights (but fortunately the noise died down around 11)."

"Breakfast was very… strange?? Cold pancakes to toast & cold sandwiches with questionable meat to microwave. Hotel is very old. Room was clean & it was good location to what we wanted to do. Overall it was ok but for almost $300 a night I expected a lot better. "

"Great location, especially when classes in the area are out / it's summer, and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. We appreciated the ability to park easily around the perimeter of the properties as well. Will return when coming back to Vancouver."

"Overall had a great stay for 4 nights. Quiet ocean view king bed room. Spacious Room was modern and clean and had everything you needed. Bidet seat on toilet. Robes, sandals provided for outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Helpful staff. Luggage storage available. Restaurant, Preston’s, on site was also great! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. Walking distance to most things. One block off the waterfront. Take the Canada line train from airport right to waterfront-20 min. Then a 5 block walk to hotel or get a Lyft. Easy!"
