"Our stay was amazing! We were in and out, staying just one night, but loved our stay at The Whale on Main. Thomas was an amazing host, he walked us through where to go in town and what to see. And as we were leaving, he helped us plan the path we should take to our next destination. He even printed out a map for us that included all the stops! I would absolutely recommend staying here for a wonderful visit to Hermanus."

"Zum kleinen Preise 5* Die Zimmer sind einfach nur traumhaft. Sehr geräumig mit dem Gewissen Etwas an Exklusivität. Das Bad einfach nur 😍, Außenpool klein aber 👍 mit ausreichend Liegen / Loungemöbel. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr sicher, die Parkplätze sind auf dem dem Gelände. Das Frühstück: Ein MUST ist das Omelett - auf die Sekunde perfekt gebraten. 👏 Der Kaffee ein Genuss. die Auswahl ist vielleicht ein klein wenig überschaubar, dafür nur die Besten der Besten Lebensmittel- kein Discounter...

"La camera era enorme, con una fantastica terrazza sull’oceano. Tutto molto pulito, ordinato, con Sherry, acqua e caffè a disposizione. Unica nota negativa la rumorosità del condizionatore, che quando si attaccava di notte dava fastidio.. La colazione alla carta prevedeva sia cose salate che dolci di ottima qualità e preparate al momento. Porzioni abbondanti e ben presentate. Siamo stati veramente bene!"

"Amazing service, views, access to the cliffs and town. The rooms were comfortable and quiet! We would highly recommend and would not consider staying anywhere else. So accommodating and friendly, service with a smile. Spa was great and very reasonable! Definitely do at least one dinner with their chef who customized meals to freshest available! Only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The grounds are beautiful, and each room is unique and meticulously prepared with heated flooring in the washroom, personalized notes each evening, snacks, drinks and cleaning twice daily. The hotel only accommodates ~20 people which enhances the exclusivity of the experience since it is not open for public consumption.
