"Lovely property with courteous, attentive and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a lovely terrace for morning coffee and relaxing afternoons. Breakfast was delicious with make to order hot items and self serve juices, fruits, yogurts and cereals. Fabulous coffee machine with a multitude of options from espresso & americano to lattes and cappuccinos. Will certainly come back if visiting Capetown again. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!"

" nice room but balcony door didn't shut very well and quite noisey ( we didn't mention this and staff were apologetic ) We also paid for a mountain view which was oversold ( room 2) but the staff were very good and room was comfortable "

"We had a fantastic stay at Chapter House. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Main Street with plenty of great food options nearby. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a lovely way to start the day. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when the wine tram was fully booked. They took the time to explain our options, which we really appreciated. We opted for the tuk tuk instead and would highly recommend it. It was great fun, picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel, and was even cheaper than the tram."

"Room & bathroom were spotless & spacious. Bed linens were luxurious with top/flat sheet too which is so necessary during these hot months. Rooms only have ceiling fans , no air-conditioning. Room is well thought out with full length mirror as well as dressing table with mirror and 2- & 3 point plug fittings. Seating area and balcony are comfortable. Spacious shower with strong water pressure. No shower caps or any of the usual little vanity packs provided. Only small bottles of shampoo, shower gel & lotion and hand soap provided. Spa was luxurious and therapists were professional and friendly. Highly recommended. Again, no air conditioning, so fans which are noisy, blocking out the relaxing spa music. Restaurant staff are friendly . Food is not always great...Burgers were good but cheese on pizzas were below standard. However, breakfast croissants were good and there was a great variety of warm breakfast goodies on offer. Overall, a good 3 star establishment. Wonderful for families or groups of friends, but not really a spoil for a couple. "

"The Mirabelle is an absolute gem of a find in beautiful Franschhoek. There are so many positives about this magnificent guest house! The staff are super friendly, so helpful and courteous . This is arguably the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in. The pool is stupendous with a plethora of sun beds so no chance of being without! It’s a short walk into town so all amenities are extremely close. The breakfast is amazing with a fabulous choice of cooked options as well as a table of continental choices. We met the management who were very welcoming and super friendly and we very much look forward to a return trip. Thank you for making our visit so special! "
