"Room was clean & comfortable. However the surfaces like carpeting & chair were showing excessive wear. Not attractive. HVAC was very noisy when turning on & off."
"Hotel was decent. Took a bit to check in. Not a fan of being woken up at 3 am by a hotel employee statung our smoke detector was going off. We are non-smokers and sleeping."
"This was absolutely a disaster. After driving through the night I arrived at 5 am to a hotel I booked a week in advance that had no power. The place was under construction and was told that my room was on the 4th floor. I was told they knew the hotel would be under construction during the week prior and was not informed. I was then told that there was nothing they could do. Then after being in tears tired and irate they informed me that I could go to Hampton inn a hotel they work with and the room would be covered. When I got there I was told that was not the case. I went back to the delta to tell them and was told they did not have authority to do so. I asked for the manager to call me the next day and that never happened. I was told by her that they did not have phones…. But I was able to call the hotel. When I was called at 8am the next day when I was finally able to get some sleep I was treated horribly after everything was said and done. They did refund my money but that did nothing the no sleep no place to stay and shower as I was in town for my sons graduation. It was the worst experience I have ever had. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I should have been informed and arrangements should have either been made for me or an opportunity for me to make other arrangements. I will be contacting Marriott corporate regarding this matter. I do not recommend it to anyone"
"Non smoking room, smelled like it has been heavily smoked in. Halllways on floor one and 2 smelled like marijuana. Stayed one night then cancelled and stayed at another hotel for remainder of stay"
"There was stuff all over our floor our room was not cleaned my husband took a shower got out and used towel and got a face full of white stuff the bed sheets was dirty! We did not even stay the night we left by 530pm because it was so nasty and dirty"

What are holiday rentals like in Genoa?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Genoa. Holiday rentals feature extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits to help you enjoy your stay. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you to travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular option for family trips.
