"I loved the location of the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The parking needs improvement as there is not enough spaces onsite. The weather was hot and they did not have an air conditioner which made it uncomfortable. We loved the Bar on the corner for a quick dinner. The convenience was nice. The staff was amazing."

"6/10 Location amazing. However the rooms need updating, mold in the bathroom specifically the shower head (easy fix) and the ceiling. The finishing in the tub was also peeling which was gross. There are not many hotel in Carmel with AC so beware! This one did not have AC but we got the room with the ocean view and it was amazing! You can ditch your car and just roam the streets excellent location. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance of the hotel was also very nice and regal. The bathroom was just such a turn off. "

"Best part about this hotel is the location. It’s right at the end of Ocean Ave and a short walk to cafes, shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and shower pressure was awesome. "

"The good: The room was spotless and very clean. Excellent location- walking distance to all the main shops and restaurants. Areas of opportunity: We so happened to come during a huge heat wave and there is no AC. Asked the front desk about a fan and they didn’t have any fans. Also asked about a water dispenser or anything to refill my water bottle and they suggested the convince store adjacent to the hotel. The breakfast was ok, sort of what you’d expect for a free hotel breakfast. Nothing exciting but did the trick. Overall, would stay here again based on the location and cleanliness. Just make sure you don’t visit during a heatwave. "

"We got ocean view but ocean was too far.no balcony.breakfast was only coffee and cake wouldn't call it breakfast. No air condition in room.was so hot in our room we paid $300 per night in weekdays really expensive for that type of room.if you are going to go get the cheapest room not the ocean view."

"Lobby is fine and has a nice 70’s retro vibe to it but the rooms were terrible, smell and not a $4-500 a night value. Won’t be coming back. "
