"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "The staff here are very welcoming and very helpful. The laundry room came in handy. I was able to get my laundry done before flying home. The breakfast at the hotel did not disappoint. "The room was excellent, bed was super comfy. People tended to hang around the entrance for a long time, it would be nicer if there was a separate room/area for people to stay in whilst waiting for flights etc as large groups just hanging around at the door felt a bit uncomfortable. It could get a bit noisy although we were on the ground floor. We were not disturbed too much by this. "

"We had a lovely stay at Amrath apartment hotel. We used bolt to get around because public transit is not convenient to get to. Rides into Amsterdam run around 18 euro each way. Laundry is free which was great, dryers were too hot. Room was very comfortable, nice seating, good beds, very clean. There was no dishsoap, laundry soap or shampoo, just bar soap, so bring some. "We were switched to this property when our original hotel cancelled, a week before we were supposed to travel. This turned out to be a very positive change! "Really lovely apartment in a great location. We stayed with a 6 month old baby and 4 year old and it was ideal for quiet. If you had a kid between these ages the stairs might not have been safe but for us it wasn't a problem. Kitchen was helpful and well equipped for basic meals and a nice big fridge and dining table. Really close to bus and tram stops for all the tourist spots and cheap to get to central station / museums etc. "
