"What a beautiful renovation and serene environment. These are basic rooms and not luxurious. No A/C, but the rooms are clean with modern bathrooms. The property has a lovely central square that the hotel rooms surround, that is peaceful and charming. Gorgeous biblical art and grand arches can be seen throughout the common spaces, and act as a reminder that this building was originally a convent from the mid 1600s. "A wonderful hotel in the old town and close to the river. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We found the air conditioning a bit underpowered - more of an air cooler than an air conditioner - but we did visit in a 40 degree heatwave! There’s a lift to the 5th floor but we were on 6th so if stairs are a problem I’d advise you to contact the hotel before your stay and ask not to be on floor 6. "Staff very helpful and spoke English, room excellent and clean with very comfortable beds; the problem was the parking-difficult to find the garage & have to manoeuvre the car into a lift to the basement and the access to the rooms via lifts with key cards. Also the instructions for the garage were inspiken Spanish and there would not be room in the lift for a large vehicle e.g SUV."
