The Segond Hotel

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel — the rooms were nice and clean, and the location was so peaceful and relaxing. We had a room with a terrace which was perfect. Special thanks to Zoe from Zzzing for excellent communication and so much patience throughout. The kitchen staff were also incredibly kind and understanding, and they met my daughter’s celiac needs with no cross contamination without it being a problem at all. A big thank you especially to Aloe for his care and understanding — it made all the difference for us. Highly recommend."

"Restaurants cater for most tastes, menus are comprehensive and the decor is what you expect in such a hotel. Selection of different breakfast dishes suited al palates. Only used the main pool where the staff were on the ball as soon as the pool opened. No waiting for ages to order a drink or snack. The location of the hotel is about ten minutes by bus from Victoria but the walk from the hotel to the bus stop can be tiring (for older guests) when it's hot. I used Bolt taxis to get arround. Bolt are like Uber so you need to download their APP."

"George & Maria were most kind & helpful each and every day of our 10 night stay!! They made us feel like family. Breakfast was good, nice pools to cool off on hot lazy days. The fridge & kitchenette outside our room came in handy. Xlendi was fabulous, a short walk from the guesthouse to many many restaurants. Uber priority worked best for a few more euros when we wished to visit other areas of Gozo, George & Maria happy to give us ideas on how to spend our day. We will miss them !"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Yes the entrance is located inside the shopping centre but it is very easy to find. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and keen to be of assistance. Our room was spacious and came with a Jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony which was an enjoyable distraction. The hotel is just a short stroll from San Gorg and Independence squares and the Cittadella. The bus terminal is just to the rear of the hotel for getting to other parts of the island. Breakfast was buffet style with eggs to order and more than catered for our needs. I would definitely stay here if we visited Gozo again."
