"This hotel double charged me. When I called to express the error, they gave me the run around. When I finally was able to speak to a manager, he was unhelpful, unkind, and did not care that I was double charged and gaslit me about it. He told me they never double charged me even though I have the proof. He kept denying it. I even expressed this double charge put my bank acct negative. He still didn’t care. I expressed I would never stay with them again and he said that’s fine and hung up on me....

"The staff and facilities are great. love the location. However, this place has by far the worse shower's in KC, in fact the worse showers in Ks. or Missouri. In today's world it's a crapshoot on water volume and pressure. Other places we stay at are 10 times better. You might as well grab a bar of soap and jump in the pool. "Really nice historic hotel in the heart of downtown KC."

"The hotel location is excellent. The king size room was very tight ( room 903 ) and quirky due to the configuration. The bathroom is almost 2 feet away from the king bed. The bathroom itself was very tight and there was not enough shelf space. The shower though functional needed some serious TLC. it had grungy looking areas. We had to request that room service clean the room and leave fresh towels. There was no real vibe in the place. I like boutique hotels and being European am used to old...
