"Very welcoming staff, lovely setting and food"

"Great location, ideal for parking. Room was adequate and bathroom was more modern than room. Breakfast was very good….. self service buffet. No issues. Thank you"

"What a beautiful small hotel with the most helpful and respectful staff. Traditional lounge with real fire was so nice to come back to on a cold October evening. Fantastic breakfast offering cooked to your exact requirements. The room was very welcoming with lots of small but welcome additions to make your stay more comfortable. Well placed for the town which is just a short walk away."

"The facility was lovely, the staff, friendly and professional. Our room was just right. It was all very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again."

"Peter's service at check in and bar service was warm and welcoming"

The room: We stayed in the annex. No cold water for three days! Maintenance agreed the tap was broken but that was the extent of efforts to resolve it. One small bottle of water each was the solution for drinking and cleaning teeth. No control for temperature inside the room. Control in the lobby for four rooms. It was...
