"We stayed in the main building of the property. The room was spacious and well appointed including a hair dryer and kitchenette with microwave.They have free bikes and canoes available for guests. The ladies at reception were very helpful and nice. The place is close to the Marathon Lady docks where we took a fishing trip that was great fun. There is a pickle ball court, bbq and a pool. It was scorching hot so it would be nice if they planted more trees for greater shade. We had a nice stay-...

"I never actually stayed at the property. Two days before my family trip, my young son had to have emergancy surgery. We had to postpone our trip. The manager at Tranquility was extremely helpful and willing to refund our money. I couldn’t be more impressed with how easy the resort made it for me and my family in our time of need. Good people help good people. Thank you Tranquility!"

"Inexpensive location to stay in Marathon. The room was cozy with air conditioning, and a living room with a table, kitchen, tv, and couch. No front desk but we were able to check in ahead of schedule. Quick drive to the middle of the Key where there were most of the restaurants. There was a bar walking distance. View of 7 mile bridge from property and Isla Market right down the street."

"I arrived at the hotel at approximately 3:00 PM on July 11 but was told that I could not be checked in at that time. I informed the front desk representative that I was leaving for a fishing trip and would not return until after midnight. She assured me that my room key would be placed in a lockbox near the front office entrance so I could access my room when I returned. When I arrived back at approximately 12:20 AM, the lockbox was completely locked, and I had never been provided with a code....

"The pictures on the website are not accurate. Grounds do not have a waterfront view. Perhaps a long time an ago there were views but now the bushes/mangroves are tall and overgrown. The public deck near the water is pretty run down with old furniture. Not a nice nor relaxing place to hang out."
