"The shuttle service to and from the airport was awful. Shuttles were constantly late, drivers were pushy for tips and rude to/about passengers, and drove unsafely. Breakfast was not particularly good, and it is obvious the property has seen better days/is not being well maintained."

"If you don't care about where to stay and how bad the hotel is then you are fine with this one. The pictures they posted not true and don't present what you see and get in terms of the entrance lobby, the room, the beds, and amenities. They are cheating you. Very old and bad condition hotel.
Room was clean.
Washroom was dirty and hair left in bath-top and on toilet seat. Bath-top had black spots and worn out.
The lady at reception was really rude and not helpful.
Parking is the only good...

"We planned the booking for the pool but it was cold, the floors were slimey, the water was foggy and the hot tub was out of order. My granddaughter was extremely disappointed. I wouldn’t have booked had I I is that the pool was in that condition.
The room was ok but very noisy with the pool there.
The one gentleman in the evening was very nice"

"Met or exceeded every expectation. Not sure if I got some kind of super-secret deal, but this hotel delivered FAR more than I expected for the very reasonable price I paid.
I travel to the Detroit area on business multiple times a year. I don't know how I never had this place come up on my list before. It will definitely be a "go-to" for me in the future.
BIG place. Really much larger than most Best Westerns. A few miles out -- but close enough to downtown to be reasonable for daily...
