"Good location, noisy renovations going on in the lobby, furnishings a little dated"

"Found a bedbug in our room on 5th day of our stay. My wife and I were very upset but the hotel general manager was only interested making excuses rather than comforting us. She also implied that we brought the bedbugs with us. We weren't offered another room as we might spread them but we were welcome to move to another hotel, they told us. This was quite late at night and we wanted our clothes washed before packing so we had to stay that night after getting the bed vacuumed. We were so distraught and disappointed that we decided to pack up and come back home. I highly doubt we will ever go back to London again. We had such a high expectation for this trip. They have only refunded for the nights we have not stayed and pointed out that it was a non-refundable booking as if leaving early was our fault. Unbelievable. "

"Initial problems with key card not working but staff sorted quickly and efficiently. Room bright, fresh and clean, beds very comfortable. Shame no pillow protectors though. Also no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which surprised me for a 4 star rating. Drinks machine at reception for additional charge Great location, would stay again "

"Bed was like sleeping on a trampoline. Way too hard. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Unrestful sleep equals poor stay unfortunately. "
