"The staff is great, let us check in early. Not a bad place to stay, just make sure there are no baseball tournaments going on. The noise was loud and made sleeping hard to get. Not the hotels fault, the parents were not keeping their children under control. Kids will be kids, should not let them run wild. The staff had to get on to the parents about the children. Crazy!"
Hotel Forty Five, Macon, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Had to wait over an hour (after 4 pm check in time) to get our room. The rooftop bar food was terrible to say the least and we ordered 3 different items, all were DISGUSTING. Do not eat there. Room was clean and view was amazing. Hotel is in a great location to everything you want to do in Macon."
"This was a decent hotel but not what I was expecting from a Best Western. It was in need of some serious updating. I thought my gps had taken me to an old motel by mistake when I pulled up. The beds weren’t particular comfortable, but I’ve definitely slept in worse. At least the hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was so-so. We went down for breakfast about 45 minutes before they stopped serving it. There were no pastries of any kind, the yogurt machine was out, and the sausage links were all gone. I did like that they had various fruit toppings for the waffles.
It wasnt really a bad stay. I just expect more from the Best Western brand based on past experience and the cost. I would probably stay somewhere else next time."
"Only complaint is the breakfast was “yuck”. No regular waffle mix, just chocolate goo and something posing as sausage. Room was very clean, cool, and comfortable. Desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking was a little sketchy because the only door in the back was not working, limited parking in front."
