"Very poor customer service. I made my reservation two weeks in advance and expected the hotel to honor my booking. On the day of check-in, my flight was delayed, so I called the hotel and spoke with the manager. I explained that I would be arriving late, and she assured me that it would not be a problem. When I finally arrived, the receptionist informed me that the hotel was sold out and that my room had been given away. I was told they had tried to contact me but could not find my phone...

"Loved the stay. Ample parking on the spot. 1 block away from beach. Had harris teeter store just walking distance away and could buy breakfast easily. Property is very well maintained. Instead of chain store , the family owned place means they are always on the property a call away. The rooms were big and clean."

"Major issues with guest elevators. Was told that they do not work well when the temperature is hot?? Did not work the majority of the time. Aware of at least one couple that got stuck in the elevator for up to an hour and a half before being rescued by the fire department. I had to resort to using the staff elevator . Breakfast was definitely not worth an additional fee , eat elsewhere. Showers were definitely unique. Trying to adjust the hot / cold ratio was near impossible. The front desk...

"Toilet wasn't clogged but wouldn't flush right our main door had a half inch gap in the corner of it had to put a towel in front of it to keep the bugs out air conditioner worked but looked like it was falling out of the wall . Called and asked staff for wash cloths said they were being washed went to the front desk later in the day lady wrote down the room number said they would take some up later never seen them . View of the bay was great pool was nice."
