"Great overnight stay"

"Dog friendly rooms are on ground floor. These aren't comparable to other standard rooms, but charged at same rate plus an additional £20 cleaning charge. Our room was basically furnished with painted plain MDF wardrobe in corner. Window was open in all these rooms presumably to help with smell. Carpets we're stained and smell was very noticeable when windows closed. Despite these comments to reception, we were still charged the additional cleaning fee."

"Our stay at the Lion was excellent. The only complaint was that the door to our room wouldn't lock, but other than that everything was great. I would definitely stay there again. Great location for shopping at Bicester Village and a short drive to Bleinheim Palace. "

"The room & staff were fine. Not fine is that my receipt says we paid for a free breakfast as an "included amenity" when per the guests guide in the room that only applies to bookings from 2024. Worse, it's STILL shown as an included amenity on hotels.com, more than 1 year after it became no longer available. I left a hotels.com message with The Plough on 4 Feb 2026 advising them, but have not had the courtesy of a response. We didn't receive several hundred pounds worth of breakfast during our...

"Spotless room"

"Another fantastic stay at Escapade Silverstone. The location is unbeatable for race weekends, and the accommodation is always comfortable, clean and well maintained. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, with every member of staff being friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our group had multiple rooms booked, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thank you to the whole team for making our weekend so enjoyable. We look forward to returning again soon."
