"We chose this motel after learning that the Holiday Inn across the road closed its pool during the softball national tournament week. A week of softball in 100 degrees with no pool? No way. The Wyndham came in clutch for us at the last minute. The pool was clean and fun at the end of our long, hot, ball field days. The rooms were swept, trash emptied, and towels replaced everyday while we were at the field. The breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, a meat, potatoes, waffle maker, cereal & milk, coffee & juice, bagels, toast, muffins, cream cheese, butter. All the breakfast items you’d expect. I had a small issue with my sink stopper and maintenance was right on top of it the next morning. The maintenance staff looked to consist of a family who took their responsibility seriously and pride in their property. Front desk staff were all kind, helpful, and professional. They gave me a first floor room near the pool which made my room a fun hangout for the softball players in the evening. It IS a motel so keep your expectations realistic. But if you can handle a colorful clientele and a simple, unassuming, no-fuss motel, I’d recommend this place to you, and I’d stay there again. The bed was comfy. The A/C fan unit was perfect, the TV had wifi, the microwave and mini-fridge helped us survive the week without eating out everyday. Let them know what you need. The front desk staff seems eager to please and the maintenance staff seems happy to serve. I’d like to thank them for hosting us."
"Nice room in a convenient location. Had a King room. It was right by the elevator so we were worried about noise but it was very quiet. Only thing I didn’t like was the shower lay out. Just a little awkward getting in and out of the shower. Swinging glass door wasn’t the best option in my opinion."
"Step into another time period of elegance and high society. The hotel is more beautiful than I can describe and is first class all around. Staff was excellent. See for yourself and check out Cootie Browns for good eats.."
