"* Room was in good size and clean. * You need to bring your own cup because they don't provide any cup. * Check in was not convenient. This property doesn't have front desk. We contacted the property several days before arrival. They sent us the keypad codes for entrances. But one of the entrance code doesn't work. After contact them through the email they provided on the wall and waited for a while somebody came and opened door for us and gave us the correct code."

"Proximity to the Tower and modest price were my selection criteria. The apartment was spacious enough for me and my teen son for a night. If we were staying longer, the kitchen would have been a benefit certainly. The fly smashed on the wall above the bed was a bummer. Housekeeping missed that. Like many older buildings, there are improvements that can be made to the fixtures and whatnot, but I saw this as a work in progress. "The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache...
