The pool bar served food & non alcoholic drinks on the beach which was an awesome convenience for a quick lunch. Our room was clean & all staff we encountered were friendly & polite. If you plan to grab breakfast at their coffee shop, be prepared to wait. We didnt get anything heated so our food/drink wait wasn’t long but the lines were. "Room was cold. Heater would not heat up past 70°. In room Coffee service was terrible. Had to change rooms because first room smelled of cigarette smoke. Hotel restaurant was less than average. In room sofa was stained. Carpets leading into most rooms elevator were severely frayed."

"This hotel has a great location on Galveston Island. The Pleasure Pier is almost right across the street. There is a great restaurant and bar next door. The room was spacious and clean and even had a small balcony and a view of the beach! All of this and the price didn't break our bank. We will definitely stay there again."
