"Arrive early to get a parking spot in front of the hotel. You may get a twin bed room rather than a double and pushing them together is not a great solution. The room is small and the whole establishment is cozy."

"This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend."

The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The Manor House Inn on the high road served some lovely food and excellent real ale. I really don't know why the Romans ever left !!
