"Very nice place! Clean, safe, great staff, nice kitchen to use. Large rooms. Compound that includea a small garden. And convenient location (12 minute walk to Avondale shopping center - with great "flea market" behind for cheaper clothes/goods & tons of great Africa crafts/gifts). ... Wifi a bit spotty"

"This is a fantastic gated site the major problem is internet connection, it may be a regional problem, the owners have been responsive and done their best to provide internet services. The on site parking is good and breakfast is served to your room, each single lodge contains all services; fridge, kettle microwave the staff are very friendly offering a washing and ironing service for a small fee"

"My colleagues and I had a wonderful stay at Highlands. The grounds are beautiful. The room was very comfortable as well. The staff is excellent: super friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again."

"The place was a home away from home very nice place big soft comfy bed, very friendly staff very willing to make your stay as you would like. Food was cooked to your liking anything you chose the cooks wanted to cook it for you."
