"My nephew and I had to relocate our hotel from the Premier at the last minute due to a change in the date of the Leicester City game, so we booked into the Bell Gate House. Having seen some reviews, we weren't expecting a great deal, just somewhere to sleep. However, despite the unassuming entrance in a perhaps slightly rundown area of town, we were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The large bedroom light worked, but none of the smaller, bedside lights worked, so not great at night - totally or all nothing. "The 1pm check in and 11am check out was a bonus. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was excellent. The food was incredible and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. All staff members were friendly and there was ample parking. We will definitely return!"
