"This looks a grand hotel, the arrival departure whilst busy was fine, staff throughout are very friendly and polite. Breakfast was plentiful, restaurants fine one night I dined in. Service is great, loved spa treatments so much, would love to give it 5 stars for the staff and service but it’s still seemingly going through an upgrade. It just feels a bit dated in parts, marks and lumps missing on walls, old decor etc."

"No air conditioning in the room in the hot summer months. Otherwise, my stay was wonderful!"

"Central and walkable. Close to metro stations. Property is on a weird corner and street walking just outside can be tricky at first. Very close to Waterloo and Westminster tube stations so you can get anywhere pretty quickly. Hotel breakfast was great (we used it several times and would include it next time). Room was a little bit tight but that’s to be expected in Europe. Room was clean and service was good."

"Very well located hotel - just a few minutes walk from Earls Court tube station with Picadilly, District and Circle lines, so easy to get anywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room and public areas very clean. There is a nice outdoor deck and garden area to enjoy morning coffee. The water station is a nice touch - cold, bubbly or hot water taps and large bottles to bring it to the room. Good coffee/latte machine as well. Would definitely stay again here."

"We had a delightful one night stay at the Rubens, centrally located right across from Buckingham Palace’s Royal Mews or stables. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was served in a gorgeous room with booths and chandeliers. We were traveling with our teen son so the suite with a pull out couch made it a high value fit for us so we could stay in one room. The room decoration was festive and royal feeling. The sweet baked goods were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here...
