"Lovely hotel"

"Very enjoyable arrived early but where checked in early also and given a lovely room with a fantastic view of tower bridge and the tower of london. Compliments to the gent who checked us in don't remember his name unfortunately. He even warned us about possible noise from ungoing work but there was absolutely no disruption we could here. Room was comfortable and clean and had everything we required. Not too far from nearest tube stop which was handy for our planned activities. Enjoyed breakfast on both mornings and buffet was well stocked and didn't have to ask for anything extra plenty of choice. Area around hotel was lively too and would welcome this on another trip with different plans but didn't disturb us at evening. Would highly recommend to friends and family to visit. Hope to be back again ourselves on our next trip."

"We stayed here as a family of 4, kids aged 10 and 12. Worked well for us having two queen beds in one room. Fab hotel and convenient location. Lovely touch having a small bottle of wine and sweet treats for our anniversary, which I mentioned in our booking. Would have been nice to have breakfast included, but otherwise would definitely recommend! "

"This boutique hotel has a lot of cute trinkets, unique paintings, and thoughtful design touches that gave it a lot of character. It definitely has a warm, artistic vibe that stands out from typical chain hotels. My room was located on the 4th floor, but be aware that the elevator only goes up to the 3rd. I had to carry my luggage up another floor from stairs, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have large suitcases. I’d recommend requesting a room on a lower floor if mobility or luggage is your concern. The location is great, very convenient for sightseeing. It’s close to the Tube and C2C train station, with a bus stop just around the corner. I also felt safe walking around the area even in the evening, which is a big plus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I was not happy about was the weak Wi-Fi signal in my room. It made staying connected a bit frustrating, especially when trying to plan activities or check travel details. Overall, it’s a lovely, cozy place with lots of personality, just make sure you pack light or plan accordingly if you're not on one of the lower floors. "
