The room was beautiful and it was fairly close to the ferry. Unfortunately, even though we had our own ensuite bathroom, our bedroom connected to a bathroom that served other rooms. Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. Historic town with a lot of navy history but not huge amount to do other than wander & fairly nice beach ideal for small kids ,town shops all a bit tired . Old sea fort & redoubt are interesting to look around
