"Spent one night on a 2 day excursion to the big island. Difficult to find because we used the address on the GPS but should have used the one on here. (Our directions took us the area NEXT to it but with one ways and fences we couldn’t get TO it). Once we figured it out, we were good. Parking was limited but the front desk helped us find a spot. Hotel was clean. Front desk was helpful. Felt safe. Breakfast was delicious! "

"We have been having great experiences in Hawaii at every place we have stayed so far. But I have to mention something special about this property. "We have stayed at the colony I at sea mountain in pahala twice. We absolutely love this place, the people are veey nice and make you feel at home. I love the privacy and how quite it is. Its also a 5 minute walk to the beach where you can see the green sea trutles."

"What a sweet little spot. We were volcano watching and did not want to have to drive back to Kona, so we spotted this place at a very reasonable price, booked it and saved ourselves the 2 hour schlep. It was clean, quiet (well except for the coqui frogs - but just had to close the window) , cozy and had a supremely comfortable bed. Best of all, it was 8 minutes from the park. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next volcano expedition. Thanks Lokahi Lodge! "

"This is an older property, but it is well maintained, very clean, and moderately priced. Beautiful oceanside location that is a short drive from Volcanoes National Park. Our only contact with staff was with the security person who took care of our late check in for our one night stay. He was very helpful and pleasant. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"Great resort with beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms and balconies, excellent service, nice lagoon and beach, and great restaurants. Prefer North Tower over South Tower. Breakfast buffet is not worth the high price."
