"Lovely bar area and restaurant Staff were friendly. Be careful as rooms are outside of the hotel across the carpark with not great access. You have to walk across a muddy area to the rooms. The rooms do need updating but overall a pleasant stay."

The gentleman with the beard was very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. The staff in the bar and restaurant were very friendly and always had a smile on their face."

"Could be outstanding but the kitchen lets them down. The location, hotel and staff are wonderful but the food is where the shine falls off. Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel..."
