2/10 Terrible

"Please don’t book this hotel until you have confirmed parking. I was made to park outside farmers and then walk through farmers with all my bags to enter the hotel. I came back late after a work function and again had to park in a dark carpark outside farmers, walk over 300m down a dark alley to access the hotel. I would not want any of my female collages to be in this situation. Parking is limited and was full. Also you had to re pay and display at 8am so no lie in if that was your plan!"

"An historic hotel in a beautiful part of New Zealand. Clean, comfortable room. Did it eat evening meals in dining room, exceedingly noisy group and dishes expensive and focused too much on seafood. Very good location though, on harbour front and very easy walking distance to tourist attractions and reasonable cafes."

"Nice setup to spend the weekend with the family. Kids enjoyed the hot pool very much. Hotel premises was spacious. Plenty of space for kids to run around. Concierge service available to help with baggage. One of the decent resorts (from nz perspective) I have been to."
