"The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful.
We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay."
"The room was clean, the fireplace was a nice touch as the weather was really bad on the day of arrival. The front desk clerk was really friendly. Breakfast was basic but no need for anything extravagant. Coffee was good! Pool area was also clean. One thing I do have to say is, I liked that they didnt have carpeting in the room. It just made sense! Its cleaner and you dont have to worry about any mysterious stains!"
"Clean rooms, beautiful pool and bar, security is weird and creepy make sure you get dressed in the bathroom in your hotel room the old bald security guard walked right into my room. Wasn’t even aware they had copies of room keys. Scary!!!! "
"Our stay at this bed and breakfast was fantastic! The festive Christmas atmosphere made everything feel cozy and magical. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. I would definitely stay here again!
