"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We have stayed here before and to be honest we could not fault it on that occasion. But sadly this time it was a very different story. Upon arrival we checked the house for any damage and found a broken bowl on the coffee table in the lounge, there was also some cleaning products left out and the house seemed very untidy. None of this is good when you have two young children in tow. The hot water tap on the bath was not workin and there was no cover on the shower drainage. The attic room smelt...

"We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...
