"The property was very walkable to places to eat. The small bar closest to the front desk was very busy and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. She was not only tending bar, but she was also taking food orders and serving them. The property has a lot of tour bus groups and that is why everything was busy. We received a $15 drink and food perk, but didn't use it because it was never mentioned when we were in the bar."

"The Powder House duplex we stayed in was rustic but clean. The property is pretty and offers nice amenities like a pool and picnic tables. We had a leak around the toilet and someone was there to fix it in literally less than 30 seconds. Staff was friendly and location was great."

"Really disappointed. Bathhouse had broken faucet handles, no towels at 7:30 in the morning, etc. The best part is the nature around you but the poor management and lack of amenities to make up for the high cost make other options much more appealing. We have gone glamping before and this was by far the worst."

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. Check-in took nearly 20 minutes because the person in front of me was checking into six rooms, and there was only one employee working the front desk. After about 15 minutes, they finally brought in someone else to help. The rooms are severely outdated and the property overall feels run down. The final straw was breakfast on my last morning. I was having trouble with the waffle maker when it started beeping. Another guest began giving me a...

"Under remodel and they should put that up. Then to get a room without and tv which was fixed but then they continued beating on the walls well after 10 pm getting it fixed and had a 6 am flight. Dirty towels hanging up that smelt of cigarette smoke and only one towel for use in the room. Stayers beware"

"I won't stay again. It took us 30 minutes to check in and we did have reservations. Loud obnoxious group in the lobby. No wash cloths in the bathroom and no cups either."
