We received the best breakfast every morning, it was the best we ever had. We also had dinner there 1 night, and it was such an experience. "- The room was pristine and spacious. - The futon beds were insanely comfortable! - The private onsen was beautiful. - The staff were immensely helpful and had wonderful English - The location a few minutes walk from the train/bus station makes getting there with suitcases really convenient. - The breakfast is quite good and convenient. Definitely would go for the Japanese breakfast option Overall everything seems like it had been thought of which made the stay feel comfortable as both a home base for traveling around Takayama and the Hida region or as a place to rest and recoup on a rainy day"
