"Kamer was prima, personeel goed maar de Wifi doet het niet in de kamer waardooor je naar de bar moet om te werken. Locatie meer geschikt en bedoeld voor bruoiloften en recepteis, niet zo zeer voor zakelijke reiziger op doorreis. Wel lekker rustig "

"The hotel is under refurbishment. This is not reflected in the price nor mentioned when booking. Hotel is in poor condition and the accommodation was not clean. The bathroom had old flannels hanging from the shower curtain and a used bar of soap covered in hairs. I contacted the hotel about my concerns and they said because we had booked via Expedia that I should complain to them."

"I booked 2 rooms, both of which were excellent, very clean and beautifully furnished, recently fitted bathrooms with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs. We could not find any faults at all with our stay...

"Central location was good with many food options. Room was safe and quiet. Room needed some upkeep and maintenance. If you are arriving before 3pm you will need to pay for parking as the hotel only covers from 3pm. No place out front to unload baggage. Need to go around the rear of property into paid parking."

"The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

"Free parking just off the Main Street. Close to everything. Lovely friendly staff. Cosy, clean and welcoming hotel. Excellent value for money. "

"Our room, on the first floor, was excellent with lovely views. The food was of a high quality and the service was very good except on one of our three evenings when we were forgotten about and it took at least three complaints to get our meal started. On this occasion we were in the restaurant for about two hours and it took 45 minutes before we got our starter. This was a shame because otherwise everything was perfect."
