"Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Absolutely stunning decor, we had a junoir suite with a view of the IJ and it was perfect. Also had a little welcome gift from the staff for our anniversary waiting for us in the room. The hotel was walking distance to tram and bus stops to get around all of the city. The hotel was quiet enough but also bustling enough in tbe bar at night time. Staff puldnt do enough for you. We will definitely be back!"

"Ottimo Hotel. Collegamento tra la Stazione Centrale e la riva del fiume ove è ubicata la struttura (distanza dal punto di imbarco circa 1 km) con battelli gratuiti ogni 5 minuti. Zona tranquilla e poco distante dal caos del centro. Colazione eccellente! Consigliatissimo per rapporto qualità/prezzo."

"We had two stays one pre cruise one post cruise. We were confused on the a/c the first stay, thought it was just a fan. Found out on second stay it was a/c. We could have been over tired and totally misunderstood. But it does have a/c. Also, first stay we had tub/shower and second shower only. Being senior citizens with mobility issues need to check on this better. Or it would be good to ask about that when booking"

"Hotel Mai is wonderfully situated a short walking distance from the central train station and the cruise port along one of the canals. There are lots of dining options within a five minute walk. It is the perfect base when visiting Amsterdam."
