Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. "Old building good of looking for something cheap and affordable.location is a pro. Staff gave mediocre service.rooms are rundown and old. TV only had one channel. Bathroom cabinets full of garbage. Fridge old. Has community kitchen. Window view was of neighbors trash "

Definitely not fancy if you are going for the pool, DON’T but the bar /restaurant, beach, happy hour were great. Staff were friendly and accommodating! If you love the Hilton than this hotel is NOT for you. "

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. I had to advocate for myself and explain that I had a valid confirmation number and nowhere else to go. To...

"The manor house common areas are decorated artfully and the seating is comfortable. The pool is made to look like a grotto and is very pleasant, especially when the frogs start to sing. Strolling the grounds is a treat and the peacocks are quite entertaining. The dining is excellent and I had shrimp each day in different dishes. The chef cooks it perfectly! "
