idyllisches & gutes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe vom Kurpark und damit sehr idyllisch. Rund ums Hotel sind jedoch keine Geschäfte, Bars etc. Man ist also schon sehr auf das Hotel angewiesen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Leider hatten wir nur ein ca. 1,40 m Bett (für zwei Personen) wo wir im Vorfeld nicht drauf hingewiesen worden sind. Dafür war das Zimmer aber sehr gut ausgestattet (Kaffe-/Teezubereiter, Minibar, Bademäntel etc). Das Schwimmbad im Hotel war super.

Hotel in Umstrukturierungsprozess

Alles in Allem war alles in Ordnung. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und bemüht, den Wünschen nachzukommen. Schade, dass es nicht in allen Zimmern einen Minikühlschrank gibt-bei der momentanen Hitze-ungünstig. Laut Personal sollen aber alle Zimmer nachgerüstet werden, um die Standards eines BestWestern Hotels zu erfüllen (gehörte bis April zu einer anderen Hotelkette). Es gab keine Möglichkeit, die Zimmertemperatur zu senken. Zwar konnte man die schönen großen Fenster öffnen, aber da die Außentemperatur noch heißer war, machte es keinen großen Sinn. Das Frühstückbuffet war hervorragend-eine Vielzahl von Wurst, Käse, Brot, Brötchen, frisches Obst... . Ein Parkgaragenplatz, direkt beim Hotel, steht für 5€ pro Tag zur Verfügung.

Kurklinik-Flair im Teutoburger Wald

Ein großes Hotel ist es, ruhig gelegen zwischen zwei Parks. Ich war praktisch auf Durchreise da und wollte vor allem im Teutoburger Wald wandern. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, wirkt frisch zubereitet und das Personal versteht es, auch spezifische Wünsche (Weizen-freies Brötchen) zu organisieren. Perfekt. Die Umgebung allerdings von Bad Meinberg selbst erinnert an die ‚guten‘ 1960er Jahre, wo man noch zur Kur geschickt wurde. Jetzt sprießten Löwenzahn und Unkraut auf den Gehwegen. Man merkt, dem Ort fehlt Geld und legt nicht unbedingt sein Budget auf Äußerlichkeiten. Der Teutoburger Wald - mein Ausflug ging zu den Externsteinen - war mit dem Auto gut erreichbar (15 km). A pro pos Auto: das Hotel verfügt über eine große und großzügige (also auch für Vans oder SUVs) Parkgarage, die man allerdings mit 5 Euro pro Tag auch bezahlen muss. Der Hund kostet mit 10 Euro auch pro Tag extra. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, aber nicht zum Urlaub machen.

Freundliches Personal. Sehr gute Küche. Das Zimmer war prima, Klimaanlage fehlt. Unter dem Dach war es sehr warm. Die Duschen im Schwimmbad waren defekt. Ich würde das Haus jederzeit weiterempfehlen

Great place to relax

This is my hotel of choice when visiting Horn-Bad Meinberg. It hosts an excellent restaurant with a fantastic view over a park of lush mature trees, café and ice-cream parlour. As a SPA hotel, it is an excellent place to relax. Breakfast is excellent. As I don't speak German, it is disappointing that there aren't more channels in English. (only one or two business channels)

Zunächst überrascht Tiefgarage gegenüber des Eingangs, dann die netten Zimmer im historischen Teil des Hotelkomplexes. Ein schönes Schwimmbad und eine einladende Hotelbar runden einen guten Gesamteindruck ab.

Tolles Hotel zum Erholen

Wir waren für ein Wochenende da und fanden es sehr angenehm. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war komfortabel und sauber. Im Wellnessbereich lagen immer warme Badetücher, so dass wir keine eigenen hätten mitbringen müssen. Parken war auch direkt vor der Tür möglich.

Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber für den Preis in Ordnung. Saubere kleine und gemütliche Zimmer. Frühstück hervorragend und Restaurant sehr qualitativ hochwertige al-La-carte Auswahl. Weinauswahl leider etwas zu klein (nur 3 trockene Rotweine zur Auswahl). Schöne Lage, gemütlich und komfortabel.

Entspannen mit Pool und Massageanwendung

Mit meinem 12 jährigen Sohn einen Tag im Hotel verbracht, fanden wir super: schwimmen gewesen im echt tollen Pool mit Sprudelanlage, Sauna genutzt, alles frisch renoviert, Massageanwendung gehabt, super lecker in tollem Ambiente gegessen, freundlich bedient worden. Ruhige Nacht. Üppiges Frühstückbuffet, sehr edel, mit herrlichem Blick in den Kurpark. An den leerstehenden renovierungsbedürftigen Gebäuden im Umfeld muss man sich nicht stören.
