Wir hatten im Waldhotel Bärenstein eine schöne Zeit verbracht. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer. Mit dem Personal waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das einzige was von uns zu bemängeln war ist das Abendessen. Wir hatten das Gefühl das Essen war nicht frisch gekocht sondern aufgewärmt.

Leider ist das Haus nicht barrierefrei aber wir wurden in allen Bereichen überaus freundlich empfangen und bedient. Die Lage ist schön ruhig und das Frühstück sehr gut.

Unser Zimmer war mit 27qm geräumig und hell ,Möblierung etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Badezimmer groß mit guter Ausstattung. Schwimmbad wohl temperiert. Aufmerksame Bedienung zum Frühstück und Abendessen. Speisekarte gut bürgerlich, es fehlen allerdings kalte Speisen und verschiedene Salate mit unterschiedlichen Toppings. Wir können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen. Ruhige Lage und guter Startpunkt für Wanderungen.

Ich bin mit meinem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden, das Hotel hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt und ich war positiv überrascht, dass man auf dem Hotelparkplatz auch eine Lademöglichkeit für Elektroautos hatte.

De kamers zijn verouderd en de bedden waren een beetje doorgezakt. Ook was het jammer dat er geen koffie-/theefaciliteiten aanwezig waren op de kamer zelf. Dit mag je toch wel verwachten bij een 4 sterren hotel. Bij aankomst was de meneer achter de receptie niet heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ons duits is niet heel goed, maar hij bleef snel praten in het duits en wilde ook geen moeite doen om langzamer te praten of in het engels verder te gaan. De dames en heer die ons begeleiden naar de eetzaal en ons bedienden waren wel erg vriendelijk! Het diner en ontbijtbuffet waren prima. Al met al een oke verblijf, maar niet 4 sterren waard. Wij verbleven hier om de Externsteine te bezoeken, deze ligt op ongeveer een half uur lopen. Let wel op dat het aardig klimmen en dalen is om er te komen. Het wandelpad is prima te bereiken vanuit het hotel. Wij zijn wel blij dat we maar 1 nacht hier verbleven, zo veel meer is er niet te doen in de omgeving.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel gerade für Wanderer

Komfortables und sauberes Zimmer. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal! Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut! Für Wanderausflüge zu den Externsteinen und zum Hermanns Denkmal optimaler Ausgangspunkt.

Empfehlenswert

Hat uns zwar sehr gut gefallen, jedoch haben wir nicht die gebuchten Zimmer mit Verbindungstür bekommen. Auch war das Frühstück separat zu zahlen. Dies habe ich in der Übersicht anders gesehen. Alles in allem für 2 Tage sehr teuer aber allein das Schwimmbad hat uns versöhnt. Personal knapp aber unglaublich zuvorkommend und nett sowie immer bemüht.
