"Beautiful view"

"I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for wifi, most resorts offer free wifi with your stay. The room and bathroom was so small and out of date, I will never stay there again. The only good thing was I could take my dog, and to be honest, that was the only reason I chose them, because of the pet policy. But I had several other options but with West Gate being a well known name, I thought the accommodations would have been better. You live and learn, and trust me I have learned, never again!"

"20 years I’ve been coming to Myrtle Beach, many hotel experiences during that time and Sands Ocean Resort is by far the worst hotel I’ve booked. The staff were friendly and that is the only positive. I booked a 2 bedroom and was put in a 1 bedroom. The hotel needs much maintenance and repairs. Theres watering dripping from ceilings in many different areas, including inside their River Walk Cafe. Rust build up. Dust build up. Carpets are filthy. You can tell the hotel is not properly cleaned...

"The place is nice. Staff is friendly just when we got into our room. The floors were dirty. The parking lot was very filthy. Its not really maintained my ex Mother-in-law got a flat tire in the parking lot. They have lava rocks scatter cigarette butts on the ground.There's no one outside picking up trash. i wish we got a chance to go into the but the indoor pool was freezing cold, like well, water cold, and the hot tub was scalding hot. "The ho hotel was extremely accommodating. We arrived at 11:30 AM for a 4:00 PM check-in. They checked us in and allowed us to use all of the amenities at the hotel. All the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was beautiful. The only issue I had was that there was only decaffeinated coffee in our room."

"Very misleading when you are booking a Tower King suite with a balcony oceanfront view on line. You would assume... the room would be on a higher floor. Not the case they only have 2 of these rooms .. 1 on the second where the view has a tree covering half of your view smh.. the other is on the 9th floor.
