The Clifton Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A surprisingly nice hotel! We booked for a concert at the open air theatre so went foR a near to hotel. It couldn’t be any nearer , an easy 5min walk! We loved that we could reserve a parking space in advance as two girls travelling we wanted to make sure the car was parked and we didn’t have to walk about too much in the evening, it cost £8 but well worth it to not have the hassle as not knowing the area. All the staff were really lovely and the place was lovely and clean, It was a little beige in its decor but had large well appointed rooms as it’s a period building and a fabulous sea view! The next day we had a little wonder to the beach before we left (it’s right on the north bay beach ) Will definitely come and stay again thank you!"

"Lovely hotel we had the executive king size room only down side it’s directly in front of reception and you look onto the street so not much privacy unless you shut the roller blind then you lose the view. More clarity about the parking it’s dire"

"We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming, the breakfast was great and we had an evening meal too that was very tasty. The bar had a lovely atmosphere. Our room was spacious with a lovely view over the pier, it was clean with a walk in shower. Obviously they are renovating the hotel so when the scaffolding is removed it will be a fine building. Location was perfect near to everything but parking is a nightmare in peak season. We look forward to returning soon again."
