A pleasant brief visit

Had a brief overnight stay for an orienteering event and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and I enjoyed the breakfast. A nice relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic!

We love going to The Claxton - this is maybe the 5th or 6th time we’ve been. Always a warm welcome, the hotel is clean and well maintained, breakfast is nice and it’s across the road from the beach.

I stay here quite regularly. It's a lovely hotel, always immaculately clean and with welcoming helpful staff. It's right on the beach, close to the shops and the railway station. Excellent place to stay.
