"Great rooms,staff are very polite and friendly. Dislike, the breakfast could have been hotter but I've been assured that new warming plates are being ordered. Maybe the introduction of bacon....we left before, 7am to catch our flight.so missed out on breakfast, staff don't start until 7.30 am. No night porter /reception, for a 4 star boutique hotel not that professional."

"The room and property was very clean. I got club access which was beneficial. I got to use the lounge for drinks, relaxation and pre-dinner snacks. The breakfast buffet was complete and full of variety. The rooftop pool was lovely and I used it a few times. Walking distance to the main area of St Julian. Let’s stay here again."

The location of the hotel is great - near bus stop and harbour waterfront with lots of restaurant options. The food at the Reef was very good. Staff was most helpful. "This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent. The hotel is part of a group called G3 and we have eaten at several of their restaurants and the standard is also excellent. Won’t be our last visit either."

"My experience in this hotel is amazing, everything is perfect from the place itself to the staff. The pool and garden are beautiful. However, the breakfast foods didn’t suit me, maybe because I’m asian. And I did experience issue when doing the check out, I did try call to the reception multiple times to ask if someone could come to help me with the luggage but no calls were replied, so I ask cleaners ( 2 cleaners, each one I waited for 30 minutes) outside to check this out for me, I was waiting...

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Yes the entrance is located inside the shopping centre but it is very easy to find. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and keen to be of assistance. Our room was spacious and came with a Jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony which was an enjoyable distraction. The hotel is just a short stroll from San Gorg and Independence squares and the Cittadella. The bus terminal is just to the rear of the hotel for getting to other parts of the island. Breakfast was...

"Établissement très bien situé, directement dans La Valette. On a pu y déposer nos bagages avant le check-in (et après le checkout) afin de pouvoir nous promener sans encombre. Le personnel est très gentil mais il n’y a qu’un réceptionniste et il doit débarrer la porte quand on arrive la première fois, alors s’il est absent, on est mal pris… Ça ne nous est pas arrivé personnellement, mais un couple est arrivé plus tard et, heureusement, on a pu leur ouvrir la porte sinon ils auraient attendu 10...

"This hotel is truly exceptional, from the moment we checked in to (sadly) leaving, it was an absolutely perfect stay. Staff and owner were all gorgeous people - so helpful, friendly and chilled. Bed was super comfy, hotel itself is beautifully bohemian and traditionally Maltese and amenities were a bonus - loved the rooftop bar with its stunning views. Perfectly located for accessing Valetta but in a quieter location. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Malta. Thank...
