"First off, we ended up at The Shenadoah Inn as a much more affordable alternative to staying in or near, Omaha for the College World Series. The Inn and the town itself is quite a throwback to simpler times. The staff was extremely friendly, encouraging us to get water to fill our water bottles before heading off for a Saturday night game. The room was just a standard room with two queen beds, a desk, fridge and microwave, but it was spotlessly clean and served our purposes well. Breakfast is what I call an expanded continental, with cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, water or milk. However, they do have a latte/cappuchino machine often seen in travel centers, but available all day! Some people aren't crazy about the product, but I love it! They also have one of those auto pancake machines, which produces a pancake far better than the frozen ones seen at some hotels. So while nothing is super overwhelming, the friendliness of the staff, and the ambiance of the Inn and the town, make it a great affordable place to stay."
