The breakfast is excellent, but little too expensive. The hotel also has shuttle bus to the train station. Some facilties need proper maintainence, such as basin. Cleaness could be improved. "The staff at this hotel are super kind and helpful. The English speakers are few so if you do not speak Japanese just have your translate app handy to help them and yourself. We were a little sad the pool was closed and not maintained but the room was very authentic and really fun to stay in. It was the traditional experience we were looking for and the private onsen in room was wonderful to relax in. This is a very small town so if you do not want to hunt for dinner, I would recommend booking...

"If you want a traditional Japanese Ryokan experience, this is it. With two onsens ensuite, one outdoor one indoor and large rooms with a beautiful garden, and a reasonable price, it’s hard to beat. 11-min walk from the station is worth it."
