"This was one of the most disappointing places I have ever stayed. The facilities were in poor condition, with maintenance and grounds clearly neglected. The staff appeared unmotivated, and there was almost no sign of cleaning. It was overwhelmed, and the grounds had not been maintained for a long time. I also experienced flea bites—though they were not bed bug bites, I wouldn't be surprised if they were. During my stay, I genuinely believed we might need a tetanus shot afterward, which was very upsetting. I strongly advise others to consider alternative options for a more comfortable and healthier experience. Parking was chaotic—if you stay here, drive only a tiny car. For your mental health, stay away. Vacation? No, this place is where dreams go to die. "

"It is an older hotel, but they keep it clean and fairly well maintained. Small stove and full size fridge were a pleasant surprise. Very nice view, even though we had partial ocean view. Breakfast was good (not great). Huge bonus - free EV charging next to the breakfast hall. "

"Just because your room listing said oceanfront does not mean you will see the ocean. Our room we could only see the pool which was very disappointing; but it was facing the ocean. Listings should be changed to reflect what you will be looking at when you are on the balcony. Other than this, decent place to stay. "

"The first issue we had was check-in was supposed to be at 4 PM. We were not able to get into a room until 6:45 PM. When we initially went in to check in they gave me a room number and said when that room was done being cleaned. They would contact us when we finally were able to get into the room. It was not that room. They had given it to a woman that had complained about her room and then gave mine away. It was was complete Chaos when we went to check in. We’re told that because we booked third-party through Expedia there was no compensation or anything that they were given to us like that was a crime booking through a third-party company and not booking directly through them. Many people book third-party that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be able to check in on time. "
