"Bed was too soft and pillows were too hard. There weren’t q-tips, cotton squares, or bottled water in the room. The man on duty at night-about 8:00PM was awful. He had an attitude. I want to buy a water and he asked how do I want to pay for it. I asked how much it was since prices were not listed. He said it wastes his time to tell me the price and he had been working long hours. What a shame!!! I will never stay at this hotel again."

"Rooms , decors , bathroom looks very old and boring like you are in a hotel that age. 60 years ago Santa Monica is one of the richest city the room decor carpet bathroom looks very ugly and old . "

"A nice little hotel close to everything. The people who work here are outstanding. The hotel was clean. I took one star off because our little refrigerator rocked back and forth and it felt like it would fall forward. But the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was nice and the towels were clean. The hardest part was the parking. The cars are very close to each other. The woman who works the registration desk actually walks out when someone comes in or leaves to help supervise and make sure the cars are protected. She was very nice."

"We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. The location is outstanding — truly one of its biggest strengths. It is within walking distance of the Santa Monica Pier, the beach, restaurants, and shops, which made our trip much more convenient and enjoyable. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. From check-in to daily interactions, everyone was always helpful and genuinely kind, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The room was another highlight: spacious, modern, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel manages to combine a contemporary style with real comfort, not just aesthetics. Everything felt functional, clean, and thoughtfully designed. As a point of attention, the hotel parking is quite expensive at $65 per night. For longer stays, this can significantly increase the overall cost of the trip. Because of that, we chose to park at a public parking garage located just half a block away, which was a much more reasonable option. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again."

"Hotel is in a great spot, right by the Pier. Pool was really warm, not super refreshing, but the hot tub was nice. Room was great, had a partial ocean view, bed was comfortable. Lots of restaurants around as is the 3rd avenue promenade for shopping."

"Friendly professional staff, a beautiful coastal view room on the north side viewing the Santa Monica Pier, exceptional pool and oversized hot tub with food/drink service anytime, absolutely delicious avocado salmon toast with poached eggs and fresh juice drinks. Ambiance and upbeat energy in the main lobby with piano playing at night. Beach location doesn’t get any better. "

"I loved my stay here! The hotel itself is fantastic, the staff is great, and the rooms are very clean. However, I want to be honest for future travelers: the 'full beach view' photos are a bit misleading. My view was partially obstructed and didn't quite match the pictures online. Everything else was perfect, though!"

"Everything was great except for the parking. It was a tiny lot that only held about 6-8 cars, and it was tight. The room was awesome, very clean and spacious, and the little sidewalk going down to the ocean was well kept. Very close to Santa Monica Pier."
