"2 Bathrm/2 Bathrm gave us nice space for a family. No extra towels, blankets, pillows, alarm clock, in room coffee machine though. Sliding bathroom door to the bathroom was heavy and difficult to open/close. Tub/shower combo very difficult to get into because of wide, high ledge. Traffic noise from Ocean Ave and Arizona Ave kept me up at night. Pool area could be awesome but it isn’t staffed or managed. Food and coffee from the cafe downstairs is really good. The view & drinks from the rooftop bar at The Velvet Rose is great. "

"I was not pleased with our stay. Hotel is overpriced, not enough towels, A/C did not work, an engineer was sent to fix the problem and was very rude, did not speak or when spoken too no response back! Hotel charged $300 for incidentals fees and parking in hotel structure was $67 a night RIDICULOUS! I do not recommend staying at this hotel! "

"This hotel is conveniently located on the “strip” of Santa Monica pier neighborhood. While the facility does not have a restaurant, there are many in the area including at their “sister” hotel just a few doors away. The rooms are slightly dated, but very comfortable and clean. A good hotel overall."

"Hotel itself is outdated but rooms were fine. WiFi was glitchy and tv has no available steaming services just cable. Walls are paper thin and you can practically hear the conversations of the rooms next door. As well as the rooms above we had a hard time sleeping becase the people above us were stomping around all night. Location is one of the only perks of the hotel. "

"The staff at the hotel were so kind and clean and nice. The hotel was also quiet. It was close to the sea and close to the shopping center. I am willing to visit again. "
