"If you're visiting from far away like the United States or on a special trip, I'd recommend staying at the Blue Apple Beach Club instead. You don't want to cheap on the little stuff on a vacation. The room was advertisied as having Wifi, and it did not have Wifi or cell signal. Youll have to walk by the pool area to make calls. This Photo was taken on Isla Grande Rosario off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia. This is my Wife Kenda, getting up close and personal with one of these beautiful Peacocks! The Island Resort was pretty nice for the price!!! $100 per person per day including the boat ride there and back, 5 meals a day!!! and all the drinks you can handle from 10 am to 9pm! It was our first all inclusive!

"My boyfriend and I went to celebrate my birthday and I would like to say the entire resort is beautiful 10 out of 10 if you want some thing that is serene private and luxurious where do you feel like you don’t even have to lift a finger this is the place to stay. The food was delicious. The drinks could’ve been a little stronger, but overall the experience was great. Cholon was across the water so if you want a fun fast pace activity to do that’s a place to go. Just be mindful it’s a little money hungry over there, But you can always negotiate. One of the days we went to the city of Cartenga; The hotel scheduled transportation for us to get there and back and was very communicative when we were off the island. Which we greatly appreciated. "

"The Hilton Cartagena in El Laguito is a magnificent hotel. Our stay was perfect, from location, to staff, breakfast buffet, cleanliness, hotel room, pools, beach, just everything. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept in. The pillows, mattresses and pillows are so plushy and inviting. All employees go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Another top thing is the silence at night. It's soundproof and we get to sleep in peace. My husband and I can't wait to go back! "

"The ac was good. They had power shut downs at least 2 times between 4 and 6 but we were enjoying the pool anyway. No big deal. The people were friendly and they even gave us free coffee. The scuba diving company on site was excellent Diving Planet. Make sure you go out at least once. They also allow lionfish hunting. I caught 21 with my friend. Highly recommend it for some R&R. "
