"This property was great! Family friendly 2 pools snack bar a restaurant and very friendly and attentive staff! Special thanks to Erick from the bar/beach service he really went above and beyond to take care of all of our needs during our stay. "
"Amazing place. It is very quiet but walking distance from the city centre and from the luminescence beach. There is a beach two minutes walking away of another hotel of the same owners that guests can use and there is a lovely bar/restaurant. The staff could not have been nicer and if I ever go back this will be my choice. My girlfriend and I had the Maya dinner in the hotel which we highly recommend."

Shallow turquoise waters surround this car-free island where whale sharks visit from June through September. Rent a golf cart to explore colourful murals before swinging in hammocks that dip right into the gentle waves at sunset.
Isla Holbox is beautiful. I wish the bars weren't all playing loud music on the beach. I guess a lot of people like that, but it surprised me since I was expecting serene vibes You can easily find quiet spots though. Make sure to bring pesos with you

The island is beautiful and the people are great. Pls tip everyone well-what you spend on a coffee back home, the people in Holbox can feed their families with. Bring donations for the animal shelter & walk the dogs when visiting

Not as idyllic as the "no car" legend might lead you to believe (streets were full of ATVs and delivery trucks!) but still a very cool place with a chill vibe and Mexican feel.

The water was so calm and the beaches & town were walkable! Look forward to coming back during whale shark season

Isla Holbox is walkable, but the walks aren't easy. The sidewalks do have large cracks and breaks and the streets do flood during rains and you will have to be very careful where you step. There are plenty of taxis the mitigate this issue.

Isla Holbox I still a safe and great place to enjoy some R&R and a change from the all-inclusive type of vacation. Lots of different food to enjoy from local food joints and some nice shops to check out.

It's a lovely place and the beaches are fabulous. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It is a great place to get away and relax. The pace is slow and the weather is great!

Stunning location, not the easiest to get to, but worth it when you get there, no phone reception on the island was a welcome break for 2 days :)

If you get a chance to go to Holbox, do it now as it is starting to become developed and in danger of losing the chilled vibe.
