"After staying at Finest Playa Mujeres for **10 days**, this was our **third visit**, and unfortunately it will likely be our last.
The biggest highlight of our stay was the staff. **Roberto, Jesus, Marco, Kristina**, and several others consistently provided outstanding service. The team at **The Market Kitchen** for breakfast and lunch was always quick, attentive, kind, and kept everything spotless. They made us feel welcomed every day.
We also want to recognize the manager at **Shoji**, who was clearly working very hard. Unfortunately, many of the staff seemed confused and undertrained, which affected the overall dining experience. On our final night, Roberto took exceptional care of our family, especially our child with severe food allergies. He made sure our child felt safe, comfortable, and actually enjoyed the meal. That level of care meant a lot to us.
Sadly, the resort itself is not what it was a few years ago. It feels like the property is struggling to maintain the level of quality it once had.
Our room had several maintenance issues throughout the stay, including:
* No hot water at times.
* Air conditioning that didn't cool properly.
* A handheld shower that had been repaired multiple times with duct tape.
* A shower that drained very slowly.
* Housekeeping that often left the room only partially cleaned.
The biggest disappointment was the food and service at **Duke's Lobster & Seafood**. It used to be one of our favorite restaurants at the resort. This trip,"
