"The room was in deplorable conditions. It was rated 7.6 and 4 stars on the Expedia website. While it had close proximity to the Taj Mahal this was far from a 4 star or 7.6 rating. The room, bathroom and hotel in general was 2 star or 4.0 rating at best. We decided to walk away from this hotel and eat the cost of what we paid and rebook at another hotel. The other hotel was truly 5 star for the same price in the same area. BEWARE!"

"The room was decent, problem 1, once you open your window you have trash in the empty lot in front and the roof of what it looks it’s a hallway, that is not in good conditions. Also, there is a glass window between the shower and the bedroom which has a curtain that was full of mold. The walls of the room need some TLC and paint, in addition, a prior guest left a souvenir in the wall next to the lamp, let say a piece of booger in the wall. The drainage of the AC was dripping trough one of the lights. I know this is too long, but I think that problem is maintenance, because otherwise the room was great, nice size, and decent bathroom."

"Had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Agra. Very comfortable rooms and good value for the money. Breakfast buffet was good. A few items I'd go back for seconds on, especially like the fresh egg and fresh chai stations. Our server Rashal was the highlight of the buffet. He was attentive, kind and professional. He definitely represented the Hotel very well! We also had a major issue with an Uber driver that tried to scam us and the hotel staff helped us deal with him, and arranged a more secure car. While the new private car was a little bit more it sure was worth the peace of mind and comfort. "

"I strongly advise caution before booking this hotel. During my family recent stay, cash was stolen from my room while they were out dining inside the hotel premises. We immediately reported the matter to the manager, but the response was extremely disappointing. Despite repeatedly asking, no clear explanation or resolution was provided, and they refused to share the CCTV footage that could have helped clarify what happened. This is not just about the loss itself, but about the lack of accountability and transparency shown by the management. A hotel stay should feel safe and secure—here, I felt neither. I left with the impression that guest safety and trust are not taken seriously. Having travelled a lot in diff countries and continents to see it happens in my home town where we booked this it disappointing . Until they address these issues and implement proper security measures, I cannot recommend this hotel"
